There are far fewer daffodils in the main area under the tulip tree, by the ponds this season. Maybe they are blind this year, or maybe the badger, who has been digging up the drive, and this area of grass looking for grubs, accidentally knocked off all the flower buds...

We have had a fantastic February for Crocus Tomasinianus. Beautiful warm weather, unheard of - butterflies emerging with blue skies. We have had masses of camellias which have come into flower.
