Welcoming visitors to our Spring garden

Easter Bank Holiday Monday 2017
We have had three NGS open days so far this year, as well as four private group visits, three family days (including a fabulous concert) and two charity events including Christopher's Smile. We opened on Easter Bank Holiday Monday and welcomed approximately 300 visitors to enjoy some of the delights of our Spring Garden.
Flowers out in Spring were :
pale yellow, scented very delicate narcissi 'hawera';
white multi-stemmed Thalia; and
lots of fritillaries thriving in the long grass - finally we have established them!
High up, the wild cherries were full of blossom, both single and double and beneath fallen petals looked like snow. The late magnolia is Heaven Scent - a perfect flower with a whiff of (delicate) scent, as its name implies. These are just a few pictured below.

Timber Hill garden is also open to groups (minimum of 10) or individuals at other times by appointment.
