Wonderful flowing plant - could be a dress or ballgown.

Hips of Rosa moesii Geranium

Even earlier than usual Acer aconitum - glowing in the late summer sun.

Through the beeches, the beginnings of Acer saccharum. We watch for changes every day - see later photographs - when it blazes - on fire.

Rosa mutablis - so satisfying it produces new flowers daily which change from salmon to this dark pink. Flowering through to November/December

Canadian maples - usually the earliest Autumn colour at least ten days earlier

Beautiful Autumn sun and shade
